Swemet AB has signed a new framework agreement with SINFRA for electricity meters for SINFRA’s members (electricity network companies). Swemet AB (publ) (the “Company”) has signed a Framework Agreement after receiving the Allocation Decision on September 15, 2020, for the Framework Agreement with SINFRA for a period up to 2023 and can be extended in periods of up to two years.
The framework agreement refers to meters and systems as well as services such as system operation, and installation of meters and is an extension of a previous agreement that has expired. Framework agreements are signed by SINFRA with twelve suppliers, of which Swemet is one. Swemet has the best evaluation score of all tenders submitted.
SINFRA is an organization owned by member companies that comprise the majority of Sweden’s energy companies, 200 members, of which 100 energy companies are members. SINFRA signs framework agreements with suppliers in several product areas for the energy companies needs. The framework agreements are an additional opportunity for member companies to use and purchase measuring equipment via SINFRA. It is an alternative to public procurement for the respective member companies. Customers can gradually build their system from a meter to a complete system via SINFRA.
Most of Swemet’s customers are members of SINFRA and have continuously purchased products through the organization.
